I’ve been watching a lot of videos using launch control at Spring Mountain. Does everyone notice that short pause when you launch ? That has to cost you a couple of tenths at least in qtr mike times don’t you think. It’s not really instantaneous, I would think 60 ft times are like 2 sec. I have a c7 Z and it was the same thing and I don’t care what mode your in. Am I nit picking ?
We'll see soon enough. I would imagine drag times Brooks will get his hands on a broken in one rather quickly. Enough with the theoretical and hearsay.. show me the vbox and dragy videos.
All this invitation and magazine crap can't be trusted. Real tests will be in The hands of the people who can drive and aren't hiding anything that post legit videos including pdrs.

They didn’t post anything about it. Just an observation and thought on my part.

I made the same observation when watching. I think it's likely that the slight delay that we seem to be seeing will cost you far less time than excessive wheel spin did on the C7 Z06/ZR1's.
ET doesn't start until the car leaves the starting line, so no penalty in 0-60 and quarter mile times. It will probably play hell with reaction times until you get used to it, though.
