....sorry i didn't search first so i don't know if this has been brought up but,.... i was wondering if i wanted to tint the engine bay glass, would heat mess that up? odds are most wouldn't want to but if so.... anyone have thoughts? i no experience with a mid- engine like this...
I wouldn't think it'd get any hotter than the back glass of an enclosed car in the TX sun. Especially since it's vented around it. If I were tinting a C8 Coupe though, I'd leave the engine bay window stock and just tint the window behind the seats instead.
Curious why you would tint the glass on the engine bay? Just buy GM Part# 12-129090 Engine sunglasses All kidding aside isn't being able to see the engine the point?

t keep light/glare down. i'll agree that gm putting a glass window over the engine is to see it, but not everyone cares. also, there is light tint.
