And he showed it. His parting words were “Fortunately you don’t have to get this interior and I wouldn’t”. That was it for me. Why buy a car where you may diminish your own driving experience just for aesthetics? Not worth the risk to me. I opted for the regular tan 3LT interior. Hope for you guys that already got it that these previews got it wrong. But I’m doubting it. Oh and polarized glasses help is the consensus, but you lose your HUD is also the consensus. Again, a big compromise. Enjoy your cars people! Soooonn!!!!
Here's a case of them not really knowing what they're talking about (I too have been guilty of this) but if you get a 3LT with N D then yes, perhaps there is glare but on 1 and 2LTs since the top of the dash is black there shouldn't be any glare but of course they didn't mention this.

I am pretty sure that you can’t get Natural Dipped in a 1LT or 2LT. You can get Natural, but not Natural Dipped. And the dashboard glare with Natural Dipped is the whole point of this thread.
I have a 3LT convertible in order with a 4/6 TPW and I opted for Natural rather than Natural Dipped specifically because of the combination of potential glare and the increased amount of natural-colored microfiber on the door and console wear surfaces.

What's the difference between Natural and Natural Dipped? Yeah, you can't get N D in 1 or 2.
I just looked at the configurator, Natural Dipped means you get the dash covered in Natural and Natural means you get the dash covered in black.
I don't know why someone would want N D, that's just too much IMO, I like the colors broken up.
Right now I'm thinking Silver. The glare issue scares the hell out of me.

The C8 3LT has more black near the windshield than my 3LT 2014 C7 Kalahari. Wife had a Porsche Cayenne at the same time with light tan leather that went up to the windshield. No glare issues!
Yep using polarized lenses reminds me of my old boss's favorite saying, "You're solving a problem NOT Known to exist, using a method Know NOT to work!"
I had an 05 Acura TL that had a tan (I think it was called parchment) interior. I liked the way that they did the tan with the black on top and was curious if the C8 would be similar. Similar to the pic below
Would have been a nice to have a similar setup but the two tone black and tan looks just as good so will probably go for that.
Just be forewarned that the "yellow" is really a matte with a very green tint.
It's specifically designed to coordinate with Accelerate Yellow which casts green as well. I saw them in person at the local reveal and opted for bright red with my rapid blue. I was set on ordering yellow calipers.
