If you say so. IIRC, it was my understanding GM would be favoring retail-sold orders first, but if they're filling orders for stock, I guess it means more of said dealers buyers are at risk for getting the shaft on odds for a 2020. Oh well......

Of course GM would find it best for customer relations to advocate for sold orders first, as would any manufacturer with a model in short supply. In fact, with the numbers of orders placed and with the numbers of orders being cancelled and added continuously, how would GM actually know?

If the dealer tells the person ordering he is number five on their list of orders, there is no liability to tell that customer who owns the first four orders. Those four can be for John Smith or stock inventory and they would not be "getting the shaft".

Agreed, unless he also told any or all of the first four they were number X OR represented to buyer 5 they were that number specifically ahead of “John Smith” or “stock inventory” and leapfrogged him, especially if it results in either delay for buyer 5 or worse, loss of a model year order they would have otherwise gotten.

Sales Manager at Dealer emailed and clarified they that my order should be accepted along with 1 other ahead of me this week and TPW will likely be late April, May. Of course that's all "likely"

Highly unlikely your TPW will be in April. Maybe late May, but more likely June.
