I was visiting friends recently in the Sarasota area and was looking for their house......I drove past a side road and nearly drove off the road when I spotted this C8 in a driveway! Turns out the guy is a GM Tech who drove from Detroit with this C8 from the production test fleet to evaluate any issues. Unfortunately he would not allow a test drive! Has anyone else spotted it? Couldn’t resist a selfie!
One of my coworkers showed me a picture of a red coupe that his friend in Florida sent him, the driver also a GM Tech said the car was built last Thursday for evaluation testing. His friend said the Tech had found some issues but would not disclose what they were.
While I'm not a fan of that generation of mustang, car guys are car guys (/people). Not all Corvette guys are car guys, some are just Corvette guys. Mustangs, like Camaros suffer from the plastic overwhelm of sub 20k cars.
