Splash Guards

This picture from another thread shows a clear shot of the fender mounting pin holes for the front splash guards.

Yes, I bought my C8 splash guards and they install the same as the C7. Clips on the fenders and one screw up from the bottom. They only stick out from the body about .50" or about the same as the C7 which you will hardly notice.

Hmm?

After buying and installing splash guards for our C6 then our C7, I'm left with one perplexing question. Why? Why don't these cars come with them?

I am really torn between waiting for slightly larger aplash guards from ACS or another company, or simply getting these put on at delivery. Same dilemma with the side rockers. Given MacMulkin's large allocation this month, that is a decision I will need to make ASAP....I am in baby!!!

I ordered them but I guess some people would want a speaker look. I don’t think they stick out very far though so I decided to get them.

If they came from the factory as a std item, removing them would require buying shorter push pins after the fact. These are considered a dealer installed item. When I did my R8C for the C7, they were in the cargo area. The delivery team did the install.
