Any bets on how long it'll be until a new owner or youtuber with a brand new car posts what they feel are poor times for the car when they run it before the ECM allows full power at end of break-in?

Just for clarity, has it been "confirmed" that the power is reduced until engine etc. Is broken in? I know folks are supposed to stay under a certain rpm etc. But is power really limited? If so, I find that kind of exciting as just when you feel youre getting used to your car, you get a freebie power jump to further thrill you. Kinda neat.

Yeah, it is actual reduced power to protect the DCT during break-in. Smart move by GM. But probably something a lot of people will forget, or overlook entirely.

During the first 800 km (500 mi), engine torque will be limited in LOW gears.
