I the past, the production line never built 2 convertibles back to back because they take longer to assemble, and that would slow the line. Since the line probably isn't up to full speed yet, that might not be the case now, but I'd still be surprised to see them build a whole bunch of 'verts together.

I'm assuming the line is set up as the C7. They run Verts and Coupes on the same line at the same time just like any other option. They don't "stop" coupes and "start" verts. Its not much different than adding a new option to the line.
Maybe only about 20% of the total orders are Verts so the answer is certainly no. At peak they should run one out of 5 down the line because they take longer to do. Even though coupes got an early start there's no need to switch over entirely.
My guess for the "delay" in Vert shipment was really to get the line debugged and crank out as many coupes as possible before taking on the more complex Vert slowing the process down.

thank you. Trying to figure a TPW for a vert since they pulled all TPWs. I guess it will be in the late May timeframe.

Correct me if I am wrong but were not all April TPW's pulled for coupes and HTC's, and moving forward they decided to provide a TPW about three weeks prior to the actual targeted production week? I had a 04.13 HTC TPW in late January about 10 weeks prior to the targeted build date, 10 weeks was way ahead of the schedule.

I heard the same thing “pulled TPW”. Supposedly they will provide a TPW about 2-3 weeks before actual production now. Doesn’t give me an idea when mine will be produced as I didn’t previously have a TPW.
Sounds like you could be about 8 weeks away from your car. Congrats.
