Default #1839 shipped??

Uh...Maybe!

Dealer just got invoiced and forwarded it to me. Completion on 3/4 and invoice reports shipped same day (though likely not accurate)

though Intransit info shows 3/12. Looks like she'll be here this week!

Apparently they are clearing the storage lots pretty quickly..... (though he did have a car completed 2 weeks earlier)...Suspected they batched mine on the same shipment...Bonus!

Just because it shows shipped on the invoice, doesn't mean it has actually shipped. You need to check the VIN on palsapp.

We have 2 cars, 1522 and 1847 that also show shipped on the invoice but they have not actually shipped yet.

I figured that was the case as Pals doesn't show it. There is an I/T (in transit??) date of 3/12 so I can only hope it's very soon...

Guessing GM wants it's money NOW!

I saw another freight bill that shipped Saturday that had vins in the 200 and 300s. On that same shipment was a car in the 1500s. So definitely some of the shipping is based on geographical area and grouping cars together.

You are reading that invoice wrong.. mine also says shipped 2/22 on invoice but it still shows 3800 on report.. mine was 1223..and still not released to shipper even though its in yard........GM INVOICES FAST SO DEALER HAS TO START COUNTING—-nothing to do with shipping...

Likely...Mine's been at 4104 (Bailment) so info definitely sent to shipper..

The QC hold was still in effect on 2/22, mine built 3/4 after that cleared... (one can hope it's soon!)

EXP I/T is just an estimate. It's when the car is expected to arrive but that's only for cars that aren't being held up by QC holds or any other issues. It's just a generic date that they put on there and it doesn't really mean anything. It's a decent guide when all things are running smoothly though.

You don’t. Just enter your VIN in the field in the upper right of the splash screen (click on the magnifying glass icon, upper right).

This is the format of the 17 digit VIN#.

1G1Y72D40L5101153

You probably were given either the last 8 or last 4 digits.

For the 4th and 5th digit it should be:

Y6 = 1LT
Y7 = 2LT
Y8 = 3LT
Y9 = Export (non US, non Canada)

The 9th digit in black is a check digit.

Check digits are 0-9 and X.

Use this to calculate the checkdigit and skip all the guessing (and potential account lockout)

That checkdigit program did not work for me....I just went to the MyChevy site and started plugging in a number till I hit the correct vin
