Hell all, newbie to the forum and Corvette. I was able to see it up close today at Rick Hendrick Chevy Duluth. 4 were on site. 2 white, Torch red and Ceramic Matrix Gray. The red was really nice. The white I wasn’t impressed with that much. However, the Ceramic Gray was beautiful. 1 was a Z51. None were unlocked so no inside pics.
The CG really had me like "wow". I'm considering Torch Red and Sebring Orange and actually had white 3rd. But when I saw the CG I quickly moved it to 3rd. I just need to see the SO in person because on the 19 it looks a bit more darker. The C8 is an absolutely beautiful car.
Thats because its not the transparent roof. Coloured roofrails means its the carbon fiber roof , the transparent would be all black.
ok that’s why it’s painted. So why on Gods green earth did they paint it for the carbon fiber roof and not for the transparent roof? It looks so much better with it painted the color of the car.
You guys are so lucky to be able to see these in person. Our local Chevy will probably be not even getting one anytime soon. If the do, it will $20000 over MSRP.. They have a captive market, will charge what ever they can get away with or whatever someone is willing to pay.
