1912 give or take. They aren't necessarily built in VIN sequence.

I've posted the same thing on like 4 chains, because I thought it was lame. I want to be able put my vin in on shipping company website, but no idea how to get it. My dealer is so lame they don't even respond to my emails. I'd love to know how to get the first part of the vin. Conceirge provided the last part.

The VIN # should be 1G1Y72D41L510xxxx where xxxx is the last 4 digits of your VIN given to you by the concierge.

THIS IS A COMPILATION OF INFORMATION THAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE POSTED.

This is the format of the 17 digit VIN#.

1G1Y72D40L5101153

You probably were given either the last 8 or last 4 digits.

For the 4th and 5th digit it should be:

Y6 = 1LT
Y7 = 2LT
Y8 = 3LT
Y9 = Export (non US, non Canada)

The 9th digit in black is a check digit.

Check digits are 0-9 and X.

Use this to calculate the checkdigitand skip all the guessing (and potential account lockout). When you go to the decoder replace the black 0 with a ? and it should return the correct value for you.
