Depends how you define speed. I am a track/autocross guy. There are plenty of suspension/coilover options to make it faster on track.. It may not be everyones cup of tea but here's my car and the pile of Bridgestone RE71R's ready for AutoX season (if it happens). I sold my C7 for it and it is my DD/AutoX car until I see details of the C8Z. The constant updates are amazing, last week they pushed an update for Track Mode which now allows you to dial in understeer/oversteer for your driving style and on a per track basis. Really awesome stuff.
This is awesome stuff. Thanks for posting. The Model 3 Performance is definitely a sleeper for sure. I bet you surprise some people both on and off track. With the recent events I will be putting off buying any new vehicles for awhile, but Model 3 Performance is on my list. My wife drives about 16-18K miles a year and I want to get her into an EV. But I literally just paid off her 2019 Honda Odyssey so we will keep that a while, especially with cheap gas.

Nice, the tech for EVs are advancing all the time. It used to not be able to finish 1 lap before overheating but are now beating BMW M3s at the track. The reality is with EVs, turbos and AWD, a lot of new sedans are able to run 0-60 in about 3 secs. Looking forward to the C8Z.
Cool then obviously an EV is not for you. I enjoy exotics-electric-and all other cool cars
I have a 6000 pound SUV that will run 2.7 0-60 no reason needed
good luck

Thanks for posting the vid. Love dragtimes and stradman.
re: reeling in the 3, remember they had 2 in the car, and according to Stradman, full sets of luggage front and back.
The 3 had the driver and that was it. So I give that to the C8.
Good stuff either way.
Did I hear Stradman right? He bought it in Kentucky, drove it to key west, then is driving it back to Utah???? Good lord roadtrip much? Haha wow
About like I thought it would be. Looking forward to running a C8 in the future. I would think a 90-100% charged P3D would have the edge over a C8 Z51 in a stop light drag race. It is just so reliable.

I sold my z06 2019 , for tesla 3 performance 2020 and I love this car!! very fast and confortable.
The tesla is amazing but you replaced a brand new Z06 with that? The model 3 performance is fast 0- 60, decent 0-100, and then absolutely pathetic after that. Unless I wanted to get rid of a sports car and get an electric for running around then I would never make that trade based on performance alone
