Is there a way to keep it in track mode upon subsequent start ups? Mine goes back to tour mode every time.

also, I believe the manual says in Z mode , PTM is not available??

My 2017 Grand Sport stays in Sport Mode and is there when I start. Seldom have to touch the Drive Mode ****. Knew Track was a Mode that won't remain on restart.

Guys, can you NOT talk about how you have the mode settings on your 17, 18, 19 Vettes, your 911, or your F-16 fighter jet? Pointless chatter that has absolutely nothing to do with the discussion and learning about the C8. It only muddies the water for the rest of us wanting to learn about Z, My and the other modes, dash displays, etc.

Anyone want to hear about the TC, ABS and Wheelie settings on my Ducati? I doubt it.

FWIW, can read what they do in the Owner's Manual. Just consolidated these 2 pages for myself.

However, as expected, won't find things like when starting will the Sport Mode Setting used when the engine was shut off be retained or do you have to reset. Experience with C7 is useful as that was the latest logic GM used. Doubt if the F-16 operation would be useful!

PS: Have searched and kept some info re Mode settings and "some" GM folks indicated everything is possible to set specifically listing Throttle Control, which has been my concern as it WAS NOT in the 2017. However reading the Owner's Manual, it looks like Throttle Control is tied to Weather, Touring, Sport and Track Drive Mode and cannot be set separately in "My Mode" or "Z Mode." Perhaps someone with C8 CAN CHECK! Don't want to get a separate Throttle Controller, although a Soler Modified Throttle Body, which I have on my Grand Sport, may be useful- we'll see.

Hahahahahahaaa.....I should have known that someone would want to know the settings on my MultiStrada!

Also, wanted to thank the OP for his insights on mode settings.
