Default Cicio Performance Quick Introduction Thread

Given that some of you may not know of us I wanted to take a moment to give you a quick intro to both myself, our brand and staff.

I personally have been in automotive performance for 20+ years in some form or the other. Things started out as a hobby and of course just got way out of hand. From blowing up 4cylinders and rebuilding them in a driveway (Don’t buy a DSM) to where we are today which is a multi location fully staffed performance facility.

For over a decade we here at Cicio Performance have been dedicated to advancing the automotive performance industry at it's very leading edge. We are a full service facility with capabilities from innovating products, fabrication, engine and transmission builds, in house tuning and of course installs. Our first and original location is in Atlanta, GA and our satellite second location is in Virginia Beach, VA.

I feel we are uniquely positioned in the fact that not many performance shops these days have what I refer to as a “whole picture” structure. Lots outsource items that I feel are crucial to innovation and testing. We on the other hand are blessed to with views from all angles. From engine building, transmission upgrades, tuning and installing, we get to see cause and effect in a way that while is high liability I believe it pays off for the client in the end.

As I hope you guys will see I have a group of very passionate men and woman surrounding the brand who’s first and foremost goal is to serve the industry in order to bring joy to our client base.

The majority of our focus as many know has been 6 cylinder factory turbo charged variants such as the Porsche 911 or Nissan R35 GT-R. We have built some of the fastest, most reliable “tuner” cars in the world and I’m very proud of that. The time has come however for us to use the knowledge we have acquired building some of the highest HP 6 cylinders in the world and apply it to what we believe will become one of the largest aftermarket opportunities in history... the all new Corvette C8!

While we understand there will be a learning curve and there will be extremely stiff competition we are very excited for both! We are happy to make new friends in that side of the industry as well as new healthy rivalries for the community to enjoy!

We are also extremely excited to put our years and years of DCT knowledge, tuning, and relationships to work in order to push the limits of this amazingly capable new platform!

Keep your eyes peeled! We will be developing and deploying packages as quickly as possible for both 1/4 - 1/2 mile as well as road course use for clients to enjoy with confidence.

~Nathanael Cicio

I have a AW C8 Z51 w/ mag ride and front lift kit at 3100. Waitng like alot of us. I was bummed to hear you could not lower the car with the front lift system installed. I saw this company on line and they make a part for the front that will lower the car front 1" and work with the lift system. They have a video on their site showing it in use. Thought some might be interseted.

You kinda lost me. Those are some of the easiest "tuner" motors ever built.

I’m not sure how much nitrous they were running and at what gears but absolutely this is impressive especially with first time out and a lot of tuning limitations!

Ok, watching the video. This C8 launches, revs out , shifts and runs the 1/4 as it should. And did not break and axle . Nice !

we are gonna agree to disagree on that one. I’m not a 4G63 fan personally. Years and years of torture have driven me more toward the hatred side lmao!

thank you!

it is not as easy as some might think to get that extra couple of tenths. The car fights it... but we won this battle lol!

I’ve used Cicio Performance for all of my car servicing and tuning needs over the last 10 years (from an Audi R8 V10, Ford GT, Viper ACR, GT3RS (x2), Lambos (x3) ZO6/07, to my current (for track) ZR1 and now the C8) and this shop has offered nothing but the highest standard for quality of work and professionalism. I will never take my cars anywhere else. I can not recommend them or their products more highly.

I can echo this, i have used Cicio Performance for all my performance car upgrading, servicing, etc for over 10 years. From simple oil changes to building a 1300+whp GTR I have had it all done at Cicio Performance. I cant speak highly enough about the entire team.

When I heard Cicio Performance was going to enter the C8 market it drove me to explore the platform and order one for myself. I'm excited about the platform because they are excited about the platform.

It was Cicio who put the video of the white on red ano wheels that was able to drop the front with front lift 1 inch with the Al sleeve. I am also interested in doing that drop. Just want to make sure it does not impact performance. I would like to see how it is done so I can understand the theory behind it.

Absolutely. We will have full instructions once the production product is in our hands in about a week. I will be posting a thread with a pre-order link today.
