The silver doesn't appear to be shared with anything yet, not even other 2021 products coming like Tahoe and Trailblazer, up on going through their color codes.
The red however...the RPO code GPJ that is listed for Red Mist Tintcoat on CorvetteBlogger. That code is currently in use, but as a different paint code, yet a very similar shade of red.
GPJ is currently the code for Red Horizon Tintcoat on Cadillac products. Paint code WA-434B. Chevrolet uses WA-434B as Cajun Red Tintcoat on Silverado and other cars.
Whether this ends up being the red or not, don't know.
Flare Silver looks darker than machine silver. I like it. I don't think it compares to Shark Gray at all. It is still Silver but a few shades darker than Blade Silver. Flare Silver is very similar to Billet Silver Metallic on the Jeep pictured above and I think that looks real sharp especially on the Vette.

Hi, I have a Blade Silver C8 ordered also. Do you know if the C8 in this picture has the Dark Gray trim color? Can't really tell very well on the 'Configurator' . Thanks.
Sorry, I dont really know. My guess is that it was not.
I placed my deposit on a Blade Silver Metallic HTC, 10-17-19..
My salesman told me that my order went to code 3000 on 3-24-20.
I'm not too thrilled with the dark gray, either
I had a 2008 Z06 in Machine Gray.....That color was slightly "warmer" in hue, and definetly a better Silver than Blade Silver....Blade Silver has no color at all and in my eyes a very cold, washed-out silver....You will like the new one....!!!!
Here are couple more from Daytona, one in the late afternoon and one cloudy with some fill flash.
I should add a comment that the bottom photo is close to the true color as a used fill flash and I autocorrect the colors in Adobe Lightroom, I should have a very good representation of the color. Yes, it is much more gray.
I think the Shark Gray is a hint darker, and doesn't have as much silver metallic pop as the Silver Flare. I like the Silver Flare on the C8R a lot.
