After owning the C8 for more than a month, my only major complaint is the car it bigger than it needs to be. I mean, its 5" longer than the C7 and 2" wider. The leg room is huge. The rear and front trunks. I wish the C8 was 5-10% smaller and lighter. The car is incredibly quick off the line due to the torque and HP of the old-school 6.2L V-8. The European exotic manufacturers have to be scared.
Your length explanation was exactly what I felt when I saw them unload it at kerbeck the day before the reveal there. The car is big. Some love it some don't.
Coming From a C6 I was disappointed how much longer and bigger my C7 was. And the C8 is even bigger. The C7 was about 3" longer than the C6 but in my garage you actually notice it. That means the C8 is 11" longer than my C6 was. Man that's big (that's what she said).
Shocker, another mid-engined car without the tacked on looking scoops. The only part of the NSX that doesn't do it for me is the front bumper, too Civic like.. but they are trying to display the DNA, I get it.
I really hope Chevy redesigns that scoop section. I can get over the rear bumper... I might even be tempted to get over DCT... but those scoops (and the wall in the interior) just really turn me off.
Does the roof come off of the NSX, how big is the trunk, it is a beautiful car but does not meet most American standards, for you that disagree I did say most.
