I'm 6'5" and a biscuit shy of 300lbs. I've seen a video of someone with similar proportions fit without issues in the C8 coupe are there any people similar in size that have sat in the convertible I have heard the round humps behind the seats affect the headroom any help or advise. I have contacted Hendricks and they said the first convertible that hit the dealer I can come test fit before ordering

I read an article on Corvette Blogger that said there is a possibility there may not be a MY 2020 vert.

My main mission at the C8 reveal was to try it on my 6'3'' 235 lb frame to see how I fit. All seemed comfortable but i wasn't ready to order until i could see the convertible info that came out about a month after reveal.

One reason I decided to order my black Z51 HTC was because I read somewhere that the profile of the coupe and the convertible are identical. This seems to be true based on Chevy's online configurator and by the best side by side comparisons I could come up with. In fact I found that from a perfect side angle its impossible to distinguish whether you're looking at a coupe or a vert. So I concluded I wouldn't loose any headroom or any interior room at all in the convertible.

I also had a nice discussion with the GM engineer spokesperson at the reveal about seat options. Considering my size, plus my interest of touring comfort plus having no intention for any serious track driving he highly recommended the GT2 seats. I've seen a couple of posts on this forum indicating the Competition seats aren't comfortable for larger people.

So I also have fingers crossed that they build my order someday. I strongly prefer a 2020 over a 2021. I'm holding out hope.
