I thought that there was a thread already, but I was unable to relocate it. If admin wants to move this - OK.
I saw the following on CNN, but not on their website. If this is what happens, Kentucky (BG) will be among the last states to begin to return to operations. Opening will not be happening until the second week of June. This appears to be close (apx 50% - end of May) to the poll I saw here earlier. There is NO Comment here, I'm just passing on what I saw.
Again, No comments (political) was attempted. I was just providing addition information. There was no mention Good or Bad, just based on what has transpired so far and the guidelines already laid out by WH, This image shows what would happen if guidelines followed, not what is going to happen. FYI, Kentucky is #47 or 48 on testing per 1000 residents.
As slvrY2K mentioned, Parts supplier is another factor in the equation of when BG starts. I was just looking at possibly 1 of many factors. I was just trying to get a time range of when BG might - that's all - No Left or right.
Update: I just found out why I could not locate the original Poll/Thread. It was closed due to too much political dissent. I was trying not to reopen that, just give info.

If the Trump administration's own guidelines werefollowed, those are the dates based upon model projections for when the infection rate has peaked in each state and then has gone down for the recommended number of consecutive days. That is clearly not what Georgia and some states ARE doing or planning to do. In other words, a lot of states are not, or will not be, following the recommended guidelines.
Moreover, in other countries that have started to open things up, it is reported today that they are showing signs of peaking again. It's going to be very interesting to see what happens in places like Georgia 14 or so days from now.

I live in North Central Florida - no way unless a totally unseen and unexpected serious spike, will Fl open later than early May (with SE Fl perhaps a week or two later) JMO
Just for some context, my company has a factory in KY and we manufacture a product that is nowhere near essential (some consider it harmful) and we have been operating all along, zero shut down. We have changed our process to create distance, but the Governor and other officials have no issues with us operating. We have weekly inspections by the board of health to monitor conditions. Our union has agreed to continue to keep the factory running and the employees are working on a voluntary basis. I realize that none of the above may apply to GM, but my hope is that they will find a way to get back to work sometime in early to mid-May because it is possible to operate with cooperation between the authorities, union and company.
