Is panel gap an issue?

they now sit at the level of youtubers who post their famed videos of hot topics
they run an evolution of the “five things i hate about your car and the next week its the five things I love about that same car”
The party time is unfortunately over for these guys and now they are left to fend in a jungle of idiot yourubers on the web..
anybody who cant figure out composite body panels require a slight amount of extra space to expand and shrink depending on temperature is an idiot..
take solace in knowing the same composite body panel materials allows for extremely attractive body contouring that is either extremely difficult or extremely expensive to do in sheet metal so for most sports car buyers the compromise of slightly larger panel gaps occasionally is nothing compared to the beautiful body contouring available to corvette designers
as far as the interior..just order up the leather packed LT3 interior if your sensibilities are so inclined to give a rats *** about having a superior interior to some german crap mobile...
if you dont care about the interior fine whine and dine that half these ******** cry about and just want a smoking fast sports car that blows the competition away then order up the 1LT..
if you want all the luxury electronic type doodads and half step up from the 1LT with a medium range bit of luxury feel...order up the 2 Lt.
remember good old road and track went belly up and is internet only...
they are just doing their best to get noticed ..
before they disapear into the sunset..
they will probably set their hair on fire if they have any left..just to get noticed.
fwiw...when I was a kid road and track was often times my favorite no nonsense car magazine...
to this day I remember their test of the lamborghini muira S in and around 1969 was one of my favorite reads...
at the tine the muira s was a very expensive $19999..

compared to todays vehicles its not a performance barnstormer...and its competitor the ferrari daytona paled in comparison to most of us.
so to answer your question?
order the car optioned to eet your expectations or be disappointed,
the 3LT is all of five or six grand more if thats what is important to you.
hth and try and give old road and track a break....its taking on water and they are bailing as fast as possible to stay afloat.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Car and Driver has decided to fill up their fewer pages with little dumb trivial columns in the May issue (enough to take up 2 pages of quality content) and I'm not sure any of their editors have been on staff for much over a year as so many long timers have left. Errors abound: they put 3 snow tires on their long term Mercedes wagon, I wonder which summer tire was left on!
