I TAPE A PLASTIC BAG OVER THE WINDOW WHEN WASHING.
Cleaning out the Engine compartment is very time consuming. With all the rear window side vents it would have been nice if the rain was vented into the drain holes which are 1" dia. And, no way to get the water to them ?

I tried to tape over the vents. Since I have ceramic coated the car, the tape will not adhere to the surface, it just peels right up.
“A question that probably some of you are thinking of if you’re totally into that world, which I find to be very interesting. So, supposedly we hit the engine bay with a tremendous, whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light, and I think you said that hasn’t been checked, but you’re going to test it. And then supposing you brought the light inside the hatch which you can do either through the front or back or in some other way.
"Then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside the engine almost a cleaning, because you see it gets in the valves and it does a tremendous number on the valves so it’d be interesting to check that, so that you’re going to have to use mechanics with, but it sounds interesting to me. So, we’ll see, but the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute. That’s pretty powerful."
On my Ferrari F355, which has a much more open engine lid than C8, I wash the car normally (spray hose,...), but wash the engine bonnet using rags only (soap first, wet later, dry to finish.)
