Default C8 Transmission maintaintenance tips

Lurk C8, enjoy reading new owner's experiences good or not.
While following one link here came across this uTube video.
Thought it really important for C8 owners be aware of this as it's 1st time hearing it for me.
Especially pertanent for owners intent on doing DIY service, specifically trans.

This new Corvette's a revolutionary ME and what it took designers to fit everything in means definite headaches getting out/access, though.
Speaking particularly of 'routine' trans maint, which certainly doesn't appear so routine.
Just a FYI, don't inadvertently destroy tranny.

The fact there are significant consequences by having a ham fisted idiot that knows nothing about the car work on it, really shouldn't surprise anyone.

Default Just the Facts

Don't get it? Couldn't have more than a handful of miles on the car. Why screw around with it? Particularly when you are dumb and dumber. A devastating combination all to familiar with You Tubers.

Loose -- what is loose. Something loose in You Tuber's head.

Dude, it’s called a PART NUMBER. I thought that to qualify to sell a 2020 Corvette, the dealership had to get at least one mechanic trained and buy the factory service tools?

Why are you assuming the two Chevy dealerships he contacted sell C8’s? All he said was he contacted two dealerships, never said he purchased his C8 from either dealership.

it seemed to make a big deal on the price of the oil...that is pretty standard price for a DTC trans. From have a PDK it is about 900 for service. The PDK needed service every 35,000

It was an interesting video - regarding the bolts. However, it claim that chevy should have put in 2 quarts I do not agree with. The manual states only for heavy duty track users. Aslo, if you track the corvette you have to change the oil after 24 hrs of use.
