Jerry, for your 'Peel Out Procedure' why did you have your foot on the brake if both paddles were pulled? Doesn't pulling both paddles put it in 'neutral' and then releasing them would engage the trans?

You are both correct...I didn't have my foot on the brake when I peeled out in the driveway.
I have never tried Launch Control in my C6 GS. I just know it is very fast, but never tried to see if it can accelerate to GM published specifications. My Hayabusa motorcycle is advertised to go 0-60 in 2.3 seconds, but never tried to time it. It is far faster than I would attempt from a stop light. Is this Launch Control something people do all the time for S&G, or is it something once you tried it once or twice, you never do again? I do like going for top speed though. My motorcycle can hit 198, but 175 is the fastest I've taken it. My Corvette has been up to 165, but never recorded. I am more comfortable on two wheels because the ride is smoother than the Corvette. Zero vibration. Has anyone tried top speed in their C8?
