I took a few topless pics before heading off to a local Coffee & Cars Saturday Night Lights last night...Crushin' was a hit and everyone I talked to said it was the best Corvette they have ever seen. The Mid Engine Corvette really is Corvette's best so far and I can't wait to see what the future holds!

Since this is about the top. Is the top carbon fiber like the C7? And what about other body panels? Not trying to high jack the thread but can’t seem to find that info. I know you will know. Thanks.

All SMC other than the front and rear fascias which are urethane. The C8 top is lighter than the C7 carbon fiber top, but mostly because it's dimensionally smaller. The latest iterations of SMC keep getting lighter and lighter to where carbon fiber pointless. You're talking a pound or two per panel.

well I compared a new C8 with mine and my C7 feels lighter. I thought a read that they were same as C7. Might have been when everyone was just speculating.
