How long is the wait from your TPW to actually receiving your car?

My understanding is it typically spends a week on the lot before being shipped, assuming no quality holds or recalls.

After that it depends heavily on how far you are from Bowling Green. I live in Kentucky so it will arrive at my dealer the same day it's loaded on the truck. Guys on the west coast where cars are shipped via rail have to wait another 4+ weeks.

It definitely varies. I had a TPW of 8/3. The car was at the dealer on 8/7. I was very surprised it was so quick... if you don't count the year I waited lol.

Rob,

How long was your C8 delayed due to rail shipment? My 3/30 TPW was built 7/15 and was at my Dealer on the East Coast on 7/27. I had it on the West Coast on 8/6 after picking up at the Dealer on 8/3. I changed my Courtesy Delivery because I was worried my C8 might take a month on Rail to get to Oregon.
