Default Oil changes

Does anyone have any suggestions (other than 2 or 4 post lifts and other hydraulic and bulky lifts) for a safe way to get under the C8 for oil changes? I want to keep the car level, not at an angle - for proper oil drain. I have Race Ramps which give about 8 inches of front end lift, but that doesn't help the rear. Actually about 4 inches would be enough for me - but I want 4 inches on all 4 wheels. Any suggestions?

I would drive my C7 onto my ramps, pull the drain plugs and filter, let her drain for a while, then using my low profile jack, I would jack up the rear to level out the car. I’d give it more time to drain, then replace the filter and reinsert the drain plugs. Add oil, then drop down the floor jack, and finally drive her off the ramps.

First no need to have level as the C8 drain plug (only has 1) is in the front of the engine! You'll get more out with just the rear lifted!

I don't like race ramps, found one would slip, needed someone watching etc. This is how get my C7 level. I use these wood stanchions I made under the rear wheels.
For the C8, my plan is to "always use jack pads" so I'm lifting on the frame NOT to the outside, which is a large area BUT not under the frame. I always use 2 jacks.
I'll put jack stands under the lower "A" frame as close to the spindle as possible. As I do now, will keep some tension on the jacks for added security. Could put the stanchions under the rear wheels as well. Can buy those from the race ramp folks. they are plastic and mind are stronger!

Thank you. I was wondering if anyone is aware of ramps - up to 4” - that I may be able to squeeze under the side rail and drive onto. That would give me enough room to reach under for the plug and filter.

Since you will be lifting the rear any ramps will work. Don’t need low profile expensive ones.
