There are any number of threads on other series Vette Forums here, and everywhere has them reasonably priced from most parts stores to Harbor Freight. Most of the time a cheap one will do fine. I think I got my Autel "Maxiscan" from amazon for $25. Just look and get the features you want. All the best!.
If you get one of these cheaper Amazon Bluetooth ones, its really more about the APP than the device. The device really does nothing but send the information to your phone.
Some are better than others. I've used ODB Fusion and it seems to work OK. its a paid app. Not tried it on a Vette though but it seems to get pretty good reviews.
If I were to buy another one, I would want one that read ABS codes. Mine doesn't. They cost about $200. I went to three different auto parts chains, and none of them that had free scans could do it. They all sold the more expensive ones though.
I've got a Autel Maxiscan, a cheap bluetooth adaper, and OBDLink MX adapter. The Maxiscan is simple to use. If all you want to do is read and clear codes then the Maxiscan works.
The bluetooth adapters are more powerful if you want to spend the time learning how to use the apps. I got the MX adapter because I need to read some information that the cheap bluetooth adapter couldn't support. The BlueDriver has some advantages but I chose the OBDLink MX because of it's ability to use other apps.
