3,000 Status
Thank you!
No, unfortunately there is no update as to when 3000 status cars will have a TPW (Targeted production week). I too am at 3000 and I was told that I should check back in 3-4 weeks, as have most people that are or were placed at the 3000 status in March.
From what I understand, if you are at 3000, you will get a 2020 Model Year (MY) car unless some catastrophic event happens yet again.
This forum does have a wealth of info, so I also suggest using the search tool to answer some questions you may have, as somebody may have already posted about it.
Good luck with your C8, and post pics when you get it!

To better determine when you might expect to get a build date, do you know WHAT month your order was picked up by GM and went to 3000? Was it Dec, Jan, Feb or March?
A lot of folks who went to 3000 in Dec are now built, or just about built. There are also a lot of folks with Jan pick up dates that are being built now, or about to be built in July. There appears to be about a double the amount of prior months allotments that were picked up in March so I'm sure those will be spread over a couple of months time.
My order was picked up in mid January and I am still at 3000 as of yesterday. I originally had a 4/13 TPW date. Last I learned, I was told I had a TPW of 7/27 but that info is 3 weeks old and came from the NCM when I attempted to purchase the photo book, which was sold out for my build week.

As a revision to GC Direct Message 202003180001 sent on 3/18; due to the overwhelming response for the All-New 2020 Corvette, we are announcing that we have accepted a sufficient volume of orders to satisfy the remaining 2020 Model Year production. As a result, consensus is complete for the 2020 Model Year. Launch timing was impacted by both the six-week work stoppage and the COVID-19 Pandemic.
As Corvette Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter previously announced on May 29th, we have extended the 2020 Corvette Stingray production through the fall. We continue to maximize our production schedule and focus on building orders that have already been accepted for production (event 3000 or higher). Any MY20 Corvette preliminary orders at event code 1100 will not be produced and will need to be re-submitted as a MY21 order.
We encourage you and your existing MY20 customer to create a replacement 2021 Model Year order. MY21 Corvette ordering will begin on July 30th. In the attached, please find instructions to access suggested phone scripts and a suggested email template to advise impacted customers. In addition, if your dealership collected deposits for any such orders, please be prepared to comply with the terms of those agreements.
MY20 Convertible production is scheduled to begin in early August.
The base price for the 2021 Corvette Stingray Coupe and Convertible remains unchanged.
Your Chevrolet Zone Team will be providing a file of impacted orders at event 1100.

I've driven my cousin's March 11th delivery (VIN #0403) and it will be worth the wait. At least you will eventually get your 2020, unless something trips up the production process as was mentioned above. But what could possibly go wrong?

I was picked up mid January and moved to 3000. Had an initial TPW of 4/13. When trying to purchase the photo album from NCM was initially told, sold out for TPW of 7/13, then a few weeks later I decided to check again, as date are moving all over the place and Shane told me, sorry, no sold out on photo books for my new TPW of 7/27.
So today, i decided to try once again as dates seem to be in flux. She told me No, sold out on photo books for my new TPW of 8/17.
I don't get it........ so many of you also picked up in Jan, or even Feb and have status 3300, 3400 or even completed cars and TPW's much sooner. This is a coupe order, not a HTC. Getting VERY discouraged at this point.

Or at least some type of basic chronological order.

I've pre ordered a set of C7 Carbon 5VM version for $1378 including free shipping. I previously had a set of C7 Carbon exposed Carbon Fiber front splitter and side skirts on my former C7, and was VERY pleased with the quality, fit and finish. It was like Jewelry !!!
