Race #3 looked like a dead even start and the Jeep still pulled it for a bit. The C8 caught him real quick in that one though.

C8 2.8 0-60.
Not hard to understand.
But the funny part is that people are making excuses of how a RWD car with 495hp is able to outdig a gozilla of an SUV with over 700hp and ALL WHEEL DRIVE.
I mean i hate to repeat it but 0-60 in 2.8 seconds.

If you're just passing the base for something higher, understandable. But that's what i mean by everyone wants a C8.
Meaning everyone DOES want ANY C8. But for now since all we have is the base, imagine when the others come out. Everyone will literally be, everyone lol.

May I suggest that for someone that has been on the board since '12 you do a reality check. There is an entire thread dedicated to the loss of a manual for the C8. The majority of the posters are both long time Corvette owners such as I, as well as being manual transmission advocates. As for being on the C8 board, I have just as much right as anyone else. And, the right to express my angst over GM's decision to not have a manual transmission option for those of us that enjoy having one. I also find it interesting that other than posting stats, the page is blank. Obviously by choice on your part. This leads me to believe that you are simply at troll.

I enjoy reading about them and looking at them and hearing about owner experiences, but I have had a couple vettes and I'm good for the foreseeable future.

I was just questioning your logic on the subject, because if the lack of a manual is the deciding factor of you not getting one, why are you in this section then? If you're calling me a troll, then you and the handful of others that constant spew hate towards the C8 are just as much trolls as me then.
At least i love corvettes. I have a C7Z now, getting a C8 soon. I just know which corvette is better. And it's not the C7. That's old news. The C8 lineup will be the new kings.
And yes everyone does want one. At least the ones talking about it. The ones who talk about it but have nothing but hate or negativity towards it, they don't even count lol

The repetition of me wondering why people here wouldn't want to own one in any given thread is similar to people here who have no desire to own one to constant repeat they won't own one and why in any given thread.
That's the part that's sad.
Btw, they're going to sell C8's like hot cakes whether the previous corvette enthusiasts wanna buy one or not due to the lack of manual. GM put their foot down on that one lol

Everyone is team corvette now. Be happy. GM cemented corvette on the map. It was there with the C7 and prior gens but people didn't care.
Now they care about corvette. We should be thrilled. Best generation corvette is here.

But it is cool to see the C8 beat cars with much more power than it.
Has a lot to do with the traction. DIG MONSTER!

But the only outcome from that was, i did a naughty thing with one of the therapists lol. I made a comment about a month ago in the C7Z section that angered quite a few members. So not repeating that again
