So I had a check engine light come on last week (P2855 & P0700). Initially I cleared the code, because I was driving pretty hard while trouble shooting a CEL after swapping to 200cell cats.
I never noticed any change in anything, but I’m thinking I’m going to have it dropped off at a dealership tomorrow to have it looked at.
Sounds like your new/different cats are the issue. You could swap the stock cats back on and see if the CEL stays gone. That would at least tell you if your aftermarket cats are the prob.

We replaced a DCT recently for a clutch performance code similar to the one you posted. Other than the control (valve bodies), filter and a couple other seals/maintenance parts, nothing is serviceable so you might also be getting a new transmission.

Would aftermarket cats be something that would potentially void a warranty?

I wouldn't give them any wiggle room with a $15-$20K trans. A buddy had his snapped axle denied for his Kooks headers. GM flew in 2 engineers to look at the car.

Not really, but why not exaggerate on an automotive forum.
When we replaced one last month, we were the 3rd dealership to replace a unit. I'm sure there's been a couple more since then, but the reason it seems like so many is that nothing is serviceable in them. If you need a small item that would usually be a replaceable part, you get a complete transmission. Eventually that will likely go away, but for now it makes it seem like they're failing.

GM would be praying these transmissions last. If they have to replace 2 transmissions on a car that would just about wipe away any profit they had made on the sale of the car.
So did you find anything out about these codes? I just got the same two today driving home from work. Not even 2000 miles yet. Onstar did an online diagnostic & said everything was fine but when they emailed the info these codes were on it.
