There was a post yesterday on how to calculate your Event 3000 delivery date. It shows the 2nd shift starting August 3rd.

However that is too late to get all Event Code 3000s built for the last production date shown of November 13. The conclusion is GM will tell some folks soon they will get pushed to a 2021. Don't necessarily believe the post BUT looks to official! Someone went through a lot of trouble to produce it. Is that an inside GM production chart defining what "Ordered C8s" dealers must call and, ask if they will except a 2021.

Not a big deal as IMO GM would just put the car in the same order it is planned to be produced as a 2020 now, just as a 2021 (IF THE END CUSTOMER AGREES!)

I also think it's fairly clear the 2nd shift would have already happened if they had enough parts to sustain one. It appears the first shift w/ occasional overtime is able to build all the cars they can get parts for up until August, when they seem to be projecting that will turn around.
