I guess I shouldn't be complaining about waiting for my C-8. In a couple of weeks it will be a year since I put in my deposit, and truthfully considering all the tragedy in the world, my little problem seems pretty insignificant! But ****, I was 3000 in the beginning of February and haven't heard anything since then. So, I guess this is normal considering all the crap that has gone down with GM since last year, but shouldn't I have heard something about a possible build date at this point?
I have heard from other members that had their deposit in a year before you were suppose to actually be able to put one in, and have basically been told to be happy that I have a confirmed order, but I want my car
To be honest we all should be happy that we can afford a corvette. There's a lot of people that would absolutely dream of owning one and for us to be able to buy one is a blessing.
I keep seeing all these posts about ppl so mad about waiting for their car. Cmon guys, be happy you are able to even have this car.
I too am a February 3000 club member and it’s driving me crazy...... especially when I see a March allocation with a TPW......it’s not so much the wait anymore, it’s the unknown.....
From: Calgary, AB. There's a reason why white was the only color offered on every year Corvette. Proud Canadian German Jamaican!

on 2/29/20 I received an email from my salesman with my build on it and it was at 3k, as of last month my TPW was 09/28/20, now I'm in Canada so I don't know how that date will translate to you but that's where I'm sitting at right now.
And I'm with you on the not so much the wait but the unknown, I wish GM was a lot more transparent with what is going on, however I do see a light at the end of the tunnel.
Worst story I've heard, a guy 'traded' his show-vette (a '17 GS) about a year ago, for a $50k 'credit' towards a C8 when they come out. Finally, a year later his C8 arrives at dealership ... and they sold it above sticker to some other guy! When he asked, Hey where's my C8, they just said "too bad".

I understand your pain, I just crossed the 1 year deposit date. I have had 4 TPWs the latest was August 28. Then last Wednesday I got an email from the museum , my car is being built on July 27 and I am picking it from the. Museum on the 11 of August. 😅. It was almost a year to the day.

My order went 3000 in Feb. At the time my TPW was 5/8. Then it moved to 8/3. Now it is 8/31. The NCM can access TPWs for any C8 order for purposes of scheduling deliveries and Photo Albums of the build (which the can only do 10 per week). I have NCM delivery on my order plus I have been trying to order the Photo Album. The last TPW change from 8/3 to 8/31 while disappointing did allow me to be able to order the Photo Album. Neither the Concierge nor Dealers can see the TPW below 3400 (perhaps 3300) as they are very unstable until they reach 3400. So, if you have NCM delivery on your order or you are interested in ordering the Photo Album ($700), Shane Webb at the NCM can get your current TPW.
Canada orders have a phone number they can use to get the TPW, but it only works for Canadian orders.

Zymurgy: ..that's interesting,I don't have NCM delivery, but I did order the photo album .When I talked to Shane a couple of weeks ago he said he could not see my TPW...so for some unknown reason,he cannot see all of them.
I am in the group with an early February move to level 3000. It sure seems odd Chevrolet would move middle February and one March 16 allocation to level 3300 ahead of a lot of January and early February orders. I asked my local dealer who asked his regional Chevy Rep how it could happen. The Rep's reply was "he doubted it could happen". I pointed him to the "3300 Today" thread and rec'd no response. I would be helpful to receive an explanation why orders are not being processed chronologically. Perhaps there's a great reason.

Not true. When I emailed Shane about my HTC, he had no TPW for me.
