Some might call it a pretty lame mod but I think painting the lettering on tires white is a great touch depending on the vehicle. The corvette C8 is one of those cars that this looks amazing on, especially with mine having orange paint.

The reference to Tiger Paws reminded me of my first new car, a 1967 Corvair with every HD option GM offered including quick steering, HD suspension, sway bar, shocks, metallic brakes. Had an earlier swing axle Corvair and '67 definitely handled better.
BUT GM still recommended 16 psi front tire pressure in attempt to get some Understeer at the limit in that 60% rear heavy car, They also had a rear toe-in spec from -1/4 to -3/8 inches! Yep provided a cheap form of rear steer in a high "g" turn as the outside rear tire was steering the sliding rear back! Those "Tiger Paws" also provided an early warning to prevent you from going too fast for a turn. Started "growling" at ~70% of max lateral "g" force! Tossed those quickly in favor of wider, stickier 13 inch Inglewood dogbone tread tires from CA. Great in the dry BUT fit the "Never Rains in Southern CA" as they were terrible! After hydroplaning from one side of the road and saving it, got 4 low profile 14 inch Continental 714s radials when "low profile" and Plus 1 were not words used! After lots of measuring, found a set of custom aluminum Chevelle wheels that fit perfectly. After a number of mods, including headers, finned internal and external oil pan it was a great performing car!
Like Tadge, I was concerned the 60% rear weight C8 could be an issue with folks who didn't know how to pull out of rear skid with 60% weight in the rear. GM managed to actually make in Understeer slightly to keep the average owner out of trouble!
