2021s won't start production for 5 months. And besides a couple of colors you probably don't want, there won't be any major nor even obvious configurator changes anyway. Do you really need to see how the new wheel locks will look?
How about a lengthy chant of patience lotus blossom.
I am anxious to see the actual color of the new red that is replacing Long Beach red. The new visualizer will do that for me.
Not really. you can look at 5 Different monitors and they could have 5 different color settings if not calibrated correctly. It's like the TVs at the store. They all can have the same programming , but look different. Don't rely on choosing the color strictly off what you see unless you've had your monitor calibrated
The visualizer is just renders, not actual photos. So even a calibrated monitor will not give an accurate color. Just look at the Accelerate Yellow situation. Nobody really knew what it actually looked like for a long time after the 2020 visualizer was live.

I spent eight months at 1100 - I never was good at patience and I'm all out of it now. Show me the damn graphics......
People want know how much they will jack up the option prices duh! Many of us have waited close to a year on a list, never got past 1100 and would like to know what this car will cost us moving forward!

Is another $100 +/- a deal breaker? If so, you weren't much of a buyer to begin with.

No, but another thousand or two might be. If (and I'm not saying they will) GM adds $1000 to the cost of the 2LT package, and another $1000 to the Z51 package, that might affect the decision of a lot of people. Not everyone has the cash to go buy a Lambo because they're tired of waiting for a C8.
