Another allocation question
I have truly learned a lot about Corvette’s over this past few weeks thanks to everyone on here. I learned a lot about the allocation process and I had one more question. I will simplify this to make things easy. If a dealer has a three person list for the 2021 corvette. List one and two want red. List number three wants blue. Gm has a constrain on red for whatever reason. Does list number 1 get the chance to conform his order if he chooses to or will a dealer just skip number one and two and go right to list number three which is an order that can be filled perfectly. Hope this question makes sense

That depends on the dealer. Most (all the big supporting dealerships) will offer #1 the chance to change the order to meet the constraints. If #1 passes, then #2 gets the same chance. They keep moving down the list until somebody has an order (or is willing to change their order) that conforms to the constraints.
