Dash Cams.....
So someone posted a picture of a Vette and a Ferrari on Facebook. They stayed overnight at a hotel and came out to "I Heart Capitalism" keyed into both cars. Is there a dash cam that records front, sides, rear of car (can't imagine that's possible aftermarket, but asking anyway) that alerts your phone when someone is nearby?

it has two cameras. The main camera is facing forward just in front of the rearview mirror and the rear camera is facing the driver and passenger at the base of the windshield in order to capture any events from the side or the rear.

Dash cams are all well and good, but not so much for vandalism. The odds of catching a perp are remote.
I suppose they do offer more definitive proof for an insurance company that your vehicle was actually vandalized. If you're close by and the camera alerts you, you might even get a good view of them running away, but that's unlikely too.

Dash cams are great for things like that, you can watch what's happening in the morning when whoever did it is long gone.
