I have a deposit down on a 2021 HTC. My color was going to be Sebring Orange (I love the way the Sebring Orange HTC looks in pics). However, I went to the dealer this week to see a 2020 Sebring Orange Coiupe and was not impressed. It just looks orange. If you look up close in the bright sunlight or showroom lights you can see some metallic, but from even a few feet away, it just looks orange.
I have seen a C7 Z06 in Sebring Orange in my town and it looks amazing (bright and metallic). Is the 2020 Sebring Orange the same color as the Sebring Orange on a C7 Z06?
It is the same color on the C8 and C7. I've probably seen more than a dozen Sebring Orange C7's and a C8 in he showroom and the lighting is everything with that color. It goes from spectacular in really bright sun light to dull in anything less. It really does look like two different colors depending on the lighting. Even the bright lighting in the dealer showrooms can't emulate how good t looks in bright bright Florida sun.

Second SO here. Had a 2019 Z06 and now a C8 Z51 since March ... the color is a chameleon... that’s the only way to explain it... goes from a dark dull orange to a bright super metallic bomb and everything in between.
Get it in diff lighting and it changes. Amazing color!

I will say that NOSoupForU is spot on.....to the OP....when I was looking to get order my '19 I went to look at a '18 that was on a lot....you have to look at the color in different lighting to appriciate it. once seeing in full sunlight it was a no brainer.....which is why I have a SO '19 in my grage at this moment.

My 19 GS paint is amazing (after I corrected it). Pops like crazy in most light, and even when the light gives it that “just orange” effect, it is still BRIGHT orange.
I would get another in the same color in a heartbeat.
........ also, like was previously stated, the color changes constantly depending on light. GM actually got this one right.
