My 2014 has the microfiber interior (also called sueded microfiber). I love it. My C8 that has a 8/31 TPW has it as well.It is very easy to maintain and keeps your butt from sliding around. Sonax makes a great microfiber cleaner.

I think he is referring to the interior trim in microfiber (suede) yes???

Its synthetic and treated with stain resistance, should be easy to clean with little to no detergents. Warm water and a mild detergent for anything less than a dye stain.

I cannot comment on long term wear though.

I had a Viper for 3 years some time ago and it had the 'micro-fiber' seat inserts. (My wife referred to it as 'velcro'). Wear and cleaning was a non-issue. We don't own any jeans so you should take that into consideration with color transfer. The good news is you are held in place during spirited driving. The bad news is you don't easily slide in and out of the seat when you go to Starbucks....

Depends on your trim level and color:

In addition, IWE is part of (and only available with) the 3LT trim level:

IWE Sueded Microfiber-Wrapped Upper Interior Trim Package, includes headliner, visors, trim above windshield and rear window, and A-pillar trim

2LT suede seat inserts require a suede steering wheel. 3LT gives you the suede seat inserts requires suede steering wheel as well and gives you suede A-Pillars and roof plus a suede front console on dipped colors.

I first got suede inserts in our 2012 Camaro ZL1 and ordered them in our 2015 Corvette. I also put them in our custom 67 Vette seats. I really like them. Never too hot or too cold. They hold you in place and you will not slide around. The upkeep is very easy. But there are a lot of people that do not like it, a matter of personal preference.

I prefer not to have velvet on any part of my car. Yes it is soft, but so is silk. I prefer leather.

Not true. I went thru this when I ordered my suede steering wheel. There are 2 options for the suede seat inserts. One that does not allow the suede steering wheel and the other that does. Both have the same description so it’s not obvious.

6 years savings from Starbuck's Coffee, you should have enough for a coupe and convertible both.
