frunk update
I wish this was me saying its out, but its not. I did hear its scheduled to come out tuesday evening though. As soon as it lands I am hopping on a plane.
will this be pushed through onstar or does the car have to be hooked up to wifi?
and if pushed through onstar will this happen whether the car is registered to a personal account or not?

That's because the NCM is doing the update as part of PDI. Chevy issued a delivery stop order. No car that needs the update can be delivered to the customer until after the update is done. The original frunk recall was an OTA update and many did the update themselves by connecting to their home WiFi. There are plenty of cars already in owners hands that need this update. They can do it OTA (WiFi) or can take it to their dealer to have it done.
