I wish I could get in and out of my DMV in 5 minutes. It takes more than five minutes to get through the line that takes your name and tells you which line to stand in next.

I agree doc fees are different than prep and I also agree MacMulkin doesn't charge that as another add on price.
The NCM does not charge any fees for delivery other than the R8C option (that specifies NCM Delivery) on your order (which is actually charged by Chevy and part of the amount benefits the NCM). MacMulkin charges a doc fee, but offsets the price by that amount, so the net effect is no doc fees or any other fees.

I need a little gas to get it home though, so i guess i'm stuck with the $60. kind of lame, though, since i'm already paying $750 just for them to give me the car
With the courtesy delivery is the receiving dealer paid? What about Temp tags to get the car home. My courtesy dealer is 45 miles away/

You, the customer, pay the receiving dealer the courtesy delivery fee.
I had arranged with a local dealer for courtesy delivery for 800 dollars. It seemed high for South Carolina but I had been doing business with them for several years and it was convenient. Yesterday, Christina contacted said dealer to finalize delivery details only to be told that the fee was raised to 1000 because the dealership had to buy new equipment for the C8. To me, that's BS and flat out gouging.
I did a little shopping and found a dealer 30 miles from me that will do it for 350. Christina is making the appropriate arrangements.
