Default Power folding mirrors

I thought the mirrors were supposed to fold in and out when you start the car. Only time it happens for me is if I press the button on the drivers door to fold them in or out. How do you make this automatic? I know read my book.....

Sounds like a potentially deadly defect. I would know, I’m a race car driver.

You would not want them to swing out on start-up then you would take out the garage wall while backing out.

Guess there is a difference between power and automatic. Guess since my other cars like the F-Pace are power and automatic I assume the C8 was the same.

they CAN BE....but YOU have to set them up to be AUTOMATIC....that feature is turned OFF by default, all you need to do is TURN IT ON!

yes its in the car settings and each user can have their own settings.

I set mine to fold when I lock the car. I like it, tucks it in when you are parked and is a cool visual sign that the car is locked or not.

You're a funny guy/gal. If you're ever in Houston I'll be glad to buy you a beverage of your choice.

The Owner's Manual is a wonderful thing. Every owner should check it out.
