Like many new owners, I was disappointed that my C8 ordered with a wing, came wingless with a credit. I really didn't want to wait 6-8 weeks.
I landed up with an OEM wing. It was in stock at https://www.gmperformancemotor.com/parts/C8SPOILER.html.
$850 including freight. They shipped it in 24 hours. Dealer cost to install is $400-$540. My selling dealer hasn't done one, so I'm taking it to a dealer with an awesome reputation that has done several. Just letting you know in case someone is looking.
FWIW....I called Jason @ gmperformancemotor this morning. The only high wing he can currently gets is Arctic White. All others are on B/O. Painting it is the only option unless you have a white car.
Has anyone got the infamous 25% discount email coupon for accessories, for those that ordered, but did not get the high wing? Try and get information out of GM. Good luck with that. How hard is it to send out an email? We were told, you need to take delivery of the car first. It's been almost a month since I took delivery. No cigar yet.
I got my 25% coupon email and ordered a high wing through GM. (Arctic White on back order though...really?)
With discount and install option chosen, it is $942
Subtotal (1 Items):$995.00
Manufacture Coupon - XXXXX-$248.75
Price after Manufacturer Offer $746.25
Installation:$142.50
Sales Tax:$53.32
Order Total: $942.07

When did you get the email? Could you share the Last 4 S# of your car? Mine is 7179 Thanks!
which makes absolutely ZERO sense what so ever, however, I won't argue with it.
Not to jinx anything for you, but aren't things to Canada with respect to GM and Corvettes usually more expensive than state-side? Great news for you tho.
I ordered the wing last night with the 25% off coupon and then 6 hours later I got a notice that they canceled my order.
Whats up with that? What color did you order? When did you get your email? Keep us informed.as to how this turns out. I keep looking for my email. Nothing yet. I have asked the concierge. They transferred me to customer service who transferred me to marketing, who transferred me back to concierge. Nobody seems to know who has gotten notice and who hasn't nor if the wings are actually available. I missed getting mine by only 2 production weeks, so I would think there can't be too many in front of me. The long journey continues .
On the bright side, the car is fantastic.
I missed the wing production by 2 days. I was lucky enough to find one in stock. I did receive the 25% discount email a week or 2 after I took delivery. I find many of the Chevy parts houses give 25% off on day to day sales, so the 25% isn't much incentive.
I know I could save some money by waiting a while to buy a wing down the road, but I could also make a bunch of money selling my car and waiting to get another one next year.I rather be complete now. That's just me.

Could you share with us when you took delivery, so we get an idea of when you received the email.Thanks.

They are out of stock with no ETA of getting more.
I ordered the high wing from GM and 2 days later my dealer just called me that the wing is there and ready to install. Guess it is hit and miss if you can get one or not? My car arrived a week ago with it taken off my order. Someone gave me the coupon code and I used it on the site. Price came to 1000 bucks and some change with install and tax. Keep trying to place the order and see? I ordered the black carbon flash one.. 2 days later.. boom. So 2 days ago at least they had them in stock ready to ship.
