Default Order update

  • Ordered with dealer August 5, 2019
  • Status 3000 March 3, 2020
  • Status 3300 September 28, 2020

I’ve never owned a GM product before but I’ve wanted a Corvette for years but never could sit comfortably in one (legs too long) until I tried the C8. The wait continues.....sigh

At 3300 you are getting close. You'll probably go 3400 next week with a TPW of 10/12 or 10/19.

I am at 3300 with a TPW of 10.5.

Should roll to 3400 soon.

Salesman said I should get a TPW in the next 10 days. Hopefully I can get delivery before it snows

I wonder why yours taking longer than many of us - bunch of us here ordered from MacMulkin last fall got to 3000 the week of March 12th, and we got TPW in early Sept. (I ordered on 11/19, and my TPW was 9/7), and my car has already been made two weeks ago. Today I checked with Corvette Concierge, and I was told that the car has been shipped already, on its way to the local dealer for the courtesy delivery. How come yours is still 3300 at the end of Sept., even though your order date was much earlier? Who's your dealer? I don't know if that made any difference though.

I think the dealer is the reason. Being a newbie I just ordered from the first dealer I found. From what I understand their allocation for 2020 is something like 11 (after the reduction). I also ordered a fairly well spec-ed 3LT which I guess adds some time for parts.

The lack of any real communication from GM and watching people who ordered after me driving their cars has been a bit disappointing and it’s made that GT500 look pretty good. But I have resisted the urge
