That’s good. Moving right along. Cross your fingers that the plant don’t get shut down again.

I was initially 316 (placed same day - July 13) then was told I was 302 a few weeks ago.
So that o/p has moved up, I should now be 289,

I am actually surprised that in 2 1/2 months you only advanced 27 positions. I would have thought 15 in last half of July, 30 in August, 50 in September for a total of at least 95. At the actual rate, Macmulkin apparently will only do 300 in the 2021 model year vs 700 to 1100 expected. Hopefully it gets better.

How and why is it dropping as GM is not building 2021s yet, these are all people ahead of you dropping out?

The dropping number has nothing to do with how many allocations MacMulkin will get. They are dropping because people are pulling out when contacted or they are switching to a Z06 instead.

People are dropping out when contacted or switching to a Z06 (or a later model year). No mystery.

Going lower in sequence number is a combination of dropping out and deliveries. It is how many cars are in front of you. To say changes in rank have nothing to do with allocations is untrue.

We're talking about the 2021 wait list. 2021s are not being built yet so deliveries do not impact this list. And, no 2021 allocations have been issued to dealers yet.

The wait list is for those that are not at 3000 or beyond order status. There are no longer any 2020 orders at less than 3000 status. The list is 2021 and beyond - does not include any 2020.

When you get to actually ordering the car to spec., and put down $$$ on it, the numbers in front of you will fall like crazy. Be ready.

Not true my friend, all these people on the 2021 wait list have ordered vehicles and have put down deposits.

Thank you for the explanation. Hadn't heard that before.

Sadly means mine will be built several months later than I had hoped.
