Default Engine LED Light Location

As I was ..... I noticed that there is a flat surface 1 1/2" to 2" (including beveled top edge) Tall by 6" Wide that a AA battery (remove controlled or push button) or 12Vdc wired LED light could be attached to. Has anyone tried here? Anyone found an LED this size? Could use double sided tape to attach.

Looks like two good spots for them. May try low light LED red.

All the LED lights are round pucks or too long. Need a rectangular LED 6" or less.

Found this one, but possibly too tall and only 1 color. If it had more colors, it is cheap enough to try.
