Default Garage is ready....

Patiently waiting for the car to arrive. The Duramax has a few more months before eviction day.
Vinyl wall decals from edgedecals.com
Brushed silver wall emblems from Enthusiworks.
Flooring from Swisstrax.com

Good advice - no party, no machine.

Thank you! I've been wanting to do this for years but with the Denali logos, the plans changed when the car came into the picture.

I like it too, but how would you pull the wheels? Doesn't look like enough space to crouch down next to the vehicle. Or is this just for parking the vehicle, not for performing maintenance?

Most likely just a place to keep the car. I love cars and enjoy working on them. I do most of my own maintenance on the duramax in this garage but probably won’t do much with the vette. The truck is lifted so oil changes are easy but not enough room for bigger jobs or to pull the wheels on the truck to work on brakes etc.

I have a 4 car garage with 3 cars, 2 motorcycles, 4 ladders, 2 lawn mowers, 1 snow blower, 1 wheelbarrow, 2 big folding tables, 4 chain saws, 1 large tile saw, 2 large tool chest and roll away storage cabinets, 6 pr skis, 5 pr snowshoes, lots of crampons, ice axes, climbing ropes, back packs, a freezer, fertilizer spreader, lumber, yard tools, a cabinet full of pipe fittings, sprinkler parts, lawn chemicals, car detailing stuff, electrical spare parts, plumbing spare parts, and a whole lot more, OE wheels and tires for my sports car.

Your single space garage looks really nice, immaculate, clean and tidy, but as a DIY type guy, I need my stuff. To each their own, whatever makes you happy:-)

Looks fantastic!
I have a question though if that's ok, on the flooring from Swisstrax, was that a self install? And was it hard to do? I'm thinking about putting something on mine... My father in law had his garage redone, and he had one of those companies come that put some type of rubberized sealant on it, (I can't think of what the material was at the moment,) and he hates it. He says it's INCREDIBLY slippery when either the floor or your shoes are wet. We're in the Midwest so we get plenty of rain, as well as snow in the winter so wet floors are pretty common event.
Thanks in advance

Very nice.

We moved a couple of years ago into a newer home WITOUT THE SHOP that I had at the previous place. I have a 2 car with a collector car on one side. I think I’m going to need to do some creative shuffling to get the 2021 in. Work benches on one side protrude into parking area.

Based on projections I’m seeing here I probably have plenty of time to figure it out.

Maybe epoxy paint is what he had put down, that’s pretty common. I just finished my garage project today! I put down TrueLock HDXT Extreme Diamond tiles from Garage Flooring LLC. I just followed their directions, I thought it was pretty straight forward. The more stuff you have to cut tiles to go around the more of a pain it is. I have a dryer vent chase and a workbench area that required more cutting than a simple rectangular garage. It still came out great though, I’m really happy with the result.
