Overall your prior thread was an odd review, non review, but it sounds like a personal decision that had little to do with GM or the C8. You managed to say good bye (bye!) and share no in depth insight on your decision making.
Wow! You gave it a whole TWO MONTHS, 1000 miles and exactly one track day? Geez, you barely gave it a chance. Aren’t the first 500 miles rev limited?
These were all published facts especially the lack of a MT (Not going to spell it out for fear of a shutdown). You knew what you we’re getting, so I’m not sure how those were your “main reasons” since those details were well known long before you took delivery.
Hey, it’s your car...or it was. Drive what makes you happy, but your whole post comes off like you are trying to suggest the car came up short. In reality I think you got caught up in the C8 hype, and decided to give it a whirl but I think you had no intentions of keeping it the day you took delivery. Next time, I wish you’d offer some constructive feedback rather coming off like someone looking down on a car you never really gave a chance.

I know I have too many motorized toys and my true passion is putting one foot in front of the other while walking up hill at altitude.

The new C8 Z51 is a great car and a giant leap forward in many ways but to me it’s missing some rawness, so I sold it with 1067 miles. I was offered over 6 figures for the car and made a great profit to pay for my new C8 Z06. I felt GM sided a little more on refinement & know with my taste the new C8 Z06 will be the better fit for me.

Tryin to “replace” a GT4 with a Stingray was probably doomed from the beginning.

Did you have any issues? Or are you just assuming? I’ve owned 9 Corvettes and had small and large issues over time, and I’m satisfied with how they were resolved. Again, this sounds like a you problem, not a GM / C8 problem.
Overall? What didn’t perform? What fell short?
