Probably an automatic posting error. That or the car was already in an accident and or lemon buyback situation, fixed and the dealership want's to move it.

How many times do we have to dispel these incorrect "discount" postings?

I was literally there yesterday and there weren't any Corvettes on the lot at all from my observations. There was a black one in the back lot but I was told it was one of the sales guys.

Man, why let trolls get you so worked up? Who cares what others think? I would take a 1LT if you gave it to me, sell it and buy at least a 2LT.

I guess it depends on how you define "soon". In geological terms mid 2022 is soon, because that's probably when you might see a discount. Dealers probably have deposits for all cars GM builds until then,

Ouch!

As an owner of a 1LT, allow me to say that I am absolutely ecstatic about all the amenities that come standard with the 1LT! Maybe it's just my previous experiences with Vipers (MOST didn't even come with floor mats!), but this car has EVERYTHING that is needed for both street and track (yes, I do have the Z51 package... without mag ride!). Maybe I'm just used to a "raw" machine? Limited safety nannies to feel a bit more engaged?

Let's go over some of the features (and amenities) that come standard with the 1LT:

Comfort/convenience:
Leather with contrast stitching
Power seats (both driver AND passenger)
Dual zone climate control
Power tilt/telescopic wheel
keyless entry
remote start
Bose stereo
power frunk release
power hatch release
TWO LCD displays including performance displays and logging
Onstar, Apple car play, sat radio
oh..and floor mats

Performance:
Same as 2LT, 3LT
Well... need I say more?

Safety:
Hi Res Backup Camera
Backup warning sensors (was surprised that this was a 1LT standard)
Side note: although the rear view mirror cam would be an asset, I have no problem using the mirrors (all 3) to have a great view of rear surroundings. I do look forward to installing one of the many mirror dash cams that are available (probably a winter project) that will offer a similar view with the added ability of front and rear recording, GPS location tagging, etc.

Certainly not dissing owners of 2LT and 3LTs... just sayin'... for a previous MULTI Viper owner (Gen1, Gen2, Gen3 and Gen4)... the 1LT C8 is absolutely over the top with amenities...and have ZERO regrets!

LOVIN' IT!

Sure you wouldn't. You also probably wouldn't take a grade school diploma if you just had the ability to earn one either.

Look at eBay. Inventory is climbing steadily and most bids for coupes are petering out in the high $80K to low $90K range for 2LT and 3LT’s. A few HTC’s are offered, but so far noses remained turned up at them at about $115K or more. I think MSRP + $15K is the ceiling now (rare), with most between $5K to $10K over.

Too late, I called and bought it. I'm going to flip it for $95,000 and move to Costa Rica.
