Volume issues
I recently noticed my car sometimes restricts the volume for phone calls and the stereo. I can turn the volume up to max and it sounds like it is only a quarter of the way up normally. Anyone else have this issue?

My Audi and my mothers G80 does this when...
The car is in reverse
You press a button to issue a voice command (in the G80 the climate controls go down and the windows and sunroof close)
You turn down the volume ****.

I adjusted the phone volume. It still is happening. It almost seems like if I play music from android auto play before satellite radio this issue happens. If I start playing music from satellite radio then go to android auto play I do not have the sound issue. What is very weird the low audio issue even happens with everything. Phone, satellite radio, and android auto play.

Not sure if it’s the same issue but while driving with the cars xm stereo playing while using Apple car play for waze navigation , the xm volume was just right and waze alerts were extremely loud. I finally figured out the only way to adjust the waze alerts was to adjust the volume while i was hearing the alerts. Had to be quick and that worked. I kept trying to reduce the volume while the radio was on but that did was to reduce the music, not the CarPlay alerts. This probably includes all audio coming from your device connected to your car.
