VIN help
I was decoding the VIN.
1G1YF2D_ _L51_ _ _ _ _
I can’t figure out the two spaces after the D and Corvette Concierge won’t tell me the last digits (dealership says they don’t know yet)
I’m at 3400 as of 10/22.
so what is the beginning VIN?

The first 4 are 1G1Y (for Corvette C8’s)
The 5th is a 6 for 1LT, 7 for 2LT, 8 for 3LT
Then 2D4 for coupe, 3D4 for HTC
The 9th is the check digit. Google “vin check digit calculator” and enter the calculated full vin with 9th digit blank. https://vpic.nhtsa.dot.gov/decoder/C...3e1eaxhf000316
If you're at 3400, call Shane at the NCM for your last 6 digits

my 2014 ending with 00320. This one is clearly not that low 😂😂

I think you need the last 6 digits to 'solve' the Check Digit, but not positive.
