So with past models, the front wheel alignment was often set aggressively at the factory for track performance. For those owners who did not expect to track their Vettes, this resulted in rapid wear to the front tires. Some owners identified alternative alignment specs that were less track-focused and greatly increased front tire life.
I've searched the C8 forums for any posts on this and found none.
Is the C8 alignment set aggressively for performance? Have any current owners experimented with front wheel alignment?
There are tons of threads on the alignment settings. Cars come from the factory with street alignment to help with wear during daily driving. GM then has a recommended track alignment your dealer or shop can use if you plan to track it.8.5.2
Here's the factory alignment specs with both the standard and 'Track' settings. Personally, I've chosen to run something slightly more aggressive than the factory/street alignment for my non-tracked car.
Lol, I see your C6 Grand Sport avatar. I had one as well. When my factory tires bit the dust at a mere 10k miles I quickly switched over to street alignment. Those tires were staggeringly expensive.
I’ve been struggling about alignment on 2016 c7 fe4. Luckily I’ve got access to an alignment daily. I’ve aligned Porsches and nothing like troubleshooting this car. I’ve ordered the rear caster tool had the alignment set and by a short test drive the front end is just in the wind.
i took it took to Hendricks which guaranteed the had a qualified technician. I went back and got a refund the next day, deceleration on the highway it was squirrelly. They offered countering the crown in the road. I have the specs they presented if that helps finish an argument.
Though I’m not entirely sure that this car was not damaged after driving over a curb at 2mph.
Any input helping returning this car to normal is alll I’m looking for. On a jeep you can just toe and go reset the steering wheel at zero.
This vehicles power steering system, or stabilitrak or parameters on Torque steer.
The steering wheel is 4 degrees off.

what did it end up taking to fix your issue? Did you bend something?
